It is our mission to provide a safe and fun community for our children, and an efficient tool for the management of their activities.
The youth sports community consists of players, parents, teammates, classmates, families of teammates, and coaches. The parent volunteers comprise the management of the youth sports organization. Conducting a successful youth sports program, involving many hundreds and sometimes thousands of children, requires large amounts of volunteer time and coordination. This physical community can be greatly enhanced, and facilitated, though an online community portal.
Zortal Enterprises provides a complete suite of services including, online registration, payment, administration, group email, maps, calendars, scoring and scheduling applications, and merchandising.
Parents of school children have the busiest of schedules, having to balance work with family schedules and other responsibilities. A parent’s most precious, and irreplaceable, resources are their children and their time. Due to safety issues, most parents are not comfortable with setting their children free in the neighborhood to occupy themselves. Instead, children’s schedules are filled with after-school extramural activities, sports, play dates, field trips, parties, etc. Today’s children have very busy schedules. Managing these schedules can be a very time consuming, and challenging chore, for most parents. Parents spend much of their time running children to, and from, activities, and dealing with schedule conflicts. Parents cannot set their personal, and family schedules, without first having the details of their children’s schedules.
Being parents ourselves, we know there is a need in the market for tools and services to help other parents more efficiently manage their children’s busy lives.

Our History
Zortal Enterprises Inc. was founded in 2004 by Kathleen and Anthony Fisher.
Zortal Enterprises, Inc. developed out of a market need. In solving problems for their own children’s sports organizations, Kathleen and Anthony Fisher realized they had solved the problems of other parents, volunteers, coaches, board members, etc. When they received thank you cards, flowers and wine from the people they registered, and had to turn down monetary incentives to take on other organizations, they knew they had tapped into an amazing market opportunity, and Zortal was born.
Zortal has developed a comprehensive network of services that fundamentally change the interaction within the physical community that exists within youth sports organizations. Zortal is providing internet-hosted, business-class applications, and content, for youth sports organizations that effectively transform the physical communities into online gated-communities, eliminating much of the fragmentation and inefficiencies, and operational costs, that exist within these communities today.
Zortal is driven by a passion to revolutionize youth (and adult) participatory sports communities by delivering a unique combination of internet-based applications, content and services. These online applications and services streamline customer service management, enhance communications, promote volunteerism, reduce legal liabilities, increase safety, foster community support and collaboration, provide new revenue streams to the organizations, provide real-time data sharing, and reduce operational costs through process automation and online data capture and sharing.
More importantly, Zortal is unique when compared to other sports management solutions, in that it offers a true comprehensive league management system up to the national level, integrating in real-time a “pyramid” of web sites that corresponds to the different levels (team, local league, regional league, state league, national league)

"The online registration went without a glitch this year – thanks to Zortal. We even made money using their web based fundraising system!"

"Zortal handled everything, even our uniform sales for our 1000 member league. We do not have a lot of volunteer support, so having the parents input their data, and the kids check their own schedules and emails, made it all possible. I frankly don’t know how we did it before Zortal!"

"As a parent, I love Zortal. I can now register my three kids into different teams, keep track of all their schedules and only have to enter my address information once. The Zortal website has become a lifeline for me and my kids."

"As a grandparent, I love being able to see my grandkids schedules, team statistics and even photos. I love the 15 Seconds of Fame as I have no doubt my grandkids will one day look back on this time and wonder, as I do, where did the time go."
